This large, unfenced open space sits off Daniel Drive in Moriac, south of the Clerke Court playground — part of the wider Newling Reserve precinct, which also takes in a community centre, tennis club, all-access playground, skate park, BMX track and a native animal carving trail walk.
The open space has an open edge near traffic, so it's worth a reliable recall before letting a dog off-leash here. Ground is grass with partial shade, and there are a number of small holes and divots from rabbits scattered through the grass — worth watching for, especially at pace.
Bins and seating are on-site. A water fountain, public toilets and a shelter/BBQ area are a short walk away across Daniel Drive at the main Newling Reserve amenities — dogs are welcome there too (please clean up), but are not permitted inside the Moriac All Access Playground itself.
